Mrs. Ruby Ruth Seabolt Nance, age 85, of Plano, Texas, passed away May 8, 2009, in Tyler. Ruby was born March 26, 1924 in Renner, to Ralph Herbert and Ruth Young Seabolt. She married Cecil D. "Cy" Nance on June 29, 1946, by her grandfather John Hogan Young in Renner. Ruby worked at Texas Instruments in Richardson from 1958 until retiring in 1981. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Plano from 1959 until 1998 when she moved to Tyler and joined First Baptist Church, Gresham. She is survived by daughter Lana Nance Saleh & husband Bert Saleh of Tyler; son C.D. "Don" Nance and wife Jolene, of Farmersville; grandchildren Melanie and Chad Shew and Amanda Simon; two great-grandchildren; niece, Jeannie Bledsoe and family; Mr. and Mrs. C.V. Nance and family of Carrollton; Mr. and Mrs. John C. Nance and family of Plano; and sister-in-law, Mrs. Betty McCollom of Dallas, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 12, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Frankford Cemetery in Dallas. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Monday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 13, 2009, at the First Baptist Church, Gresham with Pastor Roy Thoene officiating. Donations may be made to Hospice.
