Ruby Katheryne Jenkins, age 78, of Princeton, Texas passed away February 22, 2011. She was born on June 6, 1932, in Princeton, Texas, to William Elmer and Ruby Una (Godwin) Rogers. Ruby worked for Fisher Control for 20 years. She was a member of Faith Baptist Church in Princeton, Texas. She is survived by daughter, Theresa Burk and husband Gerald of Dodd City, Texas; sons, Ben Alan Kenner and wife Esther of Blue Ridge, Texas, and John William Jenkins of Princeton, Texas; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother, William Joe Rogers of McKinney, Texas; and sister, Linda Mary Wyatt of Princeton, Texas. Ruby was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Everett Jenkins; son, Kenneth Walter Jenkins; and daughter, Sally Waller. Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 25, 2011, at 2:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow, in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Thursday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation Thursday evening from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
