Funeral services for Ruby Irene Stevens Henderson, 80 year old Leonard resident, are scheduled for 10 A.M. Friday August 5th at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Charles E. Wrenn will officiate. Burial will be in the Fannin Memorial Garden at Bonham. Family visitation will be from 6 until 8 P.M. Thursday August 4th at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Mrs. Henderson was born March 25, 1931 at Desert, Texas. Her parents were Clyde Narce and Clara Evalee Shaw Stevens. She was a seamstress and a member of the Church of Christ. She married George E. Henderson December 24, 1945 at Trenton, Texas. She passed away Wednesday August 3rd at the Red River Regional Hospital at Bonham. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law: George “Butch” and Marilynn Henderson and Leon and Teresa Henderson all of Leonard; her sister and brother-in-law: Marie and Wade Marlow of Wolfe City; her sister: Nelda Clyde Stevens of Leonard; her daughter-in-law: Vicki Lynn Henderson of Leonard; her 12 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews and extended family. In addition to her parents and her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Steven Ray Henderson, and a sister, Betty Norris Ray.
