Ruby Fay Chupik Green

Ruby Fay Chupik Green, 64, of Pottsboro passed away at Beacon Hill in Denison Saturday morning September 15th after a brief battle with cancer.

The family will greet visitors at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard Tuesday September 18th from 6 until 8 P.M. Funeral services will be Wednesday September 19th at 2 P.M. at the Assembly of God Church in Leonard. Bro. Rick Richardson will officiate. Burial will follow at the Leonard Cemetery.

Ruby was born January 6, 1948 in Waco, Texas to Steve and Ella Mae Neumann Chupik. She grew up and graduated from high school at West, Texas with the class of 1966. Ruby married Don Green September 26, 1991 in Pottsboro, Texas. Ruby and Don travelled the world extensively while working on U.S. Embassy Compounds. Ruby was active in the Ladies Auxiliary of the American Legion.

She is survived by her husband, Don Green, and step-son, Charles Green, of Pottsboro; her sister and brother-in-law, Ethyl and Carl Niemeyer, and brother and sister-in-law, Jerry and Sue Chupik of West, Texas; her mother-in-law, Helen Green, of Leonard and her sisters-in-law, Kay Flanagan, of Leonard and Elaine Green of Euless. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers-in-law: Wayne Flanagan and Boyd Green.

Honorary pallbearers will be Don Youngblood and Frank Simond. Active Pallbearers will be Charles Green, Chance Chupik, Craig Flanagan, Joseph Johnson, Eric Lowery and Marty Mitchell.
