Mr. Ruben R. Trevino, age 63, of Collinsville, Texas passed away May 3, 2009, at his home. He was born on February 21, 1946, in New Braunfels, Texas to Ramon Trevino, Sr. and Josepha (Rivera) Trevino. On May 26, 1968, he married Anita Anzualda in Celina, Texas. Ruben was a rancher and a 30 year employee of Phillips Ranch in Frisco, Texas. He also worked for Turner Farms in Collinsville for the past 11 years. Ruben loved horses, golf, fishing and cattle. He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Anita, sons, Ruben Trevino, Jr. and his wife, Lilliana and Robert Trevino and daughter, Rosie Fognini and her husband Paul all of Collinsville, Texas; grandchildren, Riley, Preston, Benjamin, Jasmine, Anna and Kaitlyn; brothers, Frank Trevino, Sr. and his wife, Elena of Princeton, Texas and Fernando Trevino and his wife, Mary of New Braunfels, Texas; sister, Estella Juarez also of New Braunfels; special godchild, Mikey Trevino; and several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and many good friends. He was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Adela Ramirez and Bernelda Cumbee; and brothers, Mike Trevino, Sr. and Ramon Trevino, Jr. A funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m., Thursday, May 7, 2009, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 7:00-9:00 p.m., Wednesday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
