Funeral services for Royce Wayne Flanagan, 62 year old Leonard resident, are scheduled for 2 P.M. Wednesday October 12th at the Leonard Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ. Brother Mack Swain and Brother Dwain Ray will officiate. Burial will be in the Fuller Cemetery west of Leonard in the Delba Community. Family visitation will be from 6 until 8 P.M. Tuesday October 11th at the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Chapel at Leonard. Mr. Flanagan was born February 26, 1949 in the Delba Community. His parents were William Royce and Lois Alene Malone Flanagan. He graduated from Leonard High School in 1967. He married Ellen Kay Green June 4, 1967 at Leonard. He was a Farmer/Rancher, a member of the Leonard Pentecostal Church of Jesus Christ and the President of the West Leonard Water Supply. He passed away at his home Monday October 10th. He is survived by his wife: Ellen Kay Flanagan of Leonard; his son and daughter-in-law: Craig & Christy Flanagan of Leonard; his daughters and sons-in-law: Lavonna & Marty Mitchell and Amber & Joseph Johnson all of Leonard; his mother-in-law: Helen Green of Leonard; his sisters and brothers-in-law: Alene & Royce Ray Minchey and Elaine and Wayne Hutchins all of Leonard; his brother and sister-in-law: Don and Ruby Green of Pottsboro; his sister-in-law: Elaine Green of Euless; his grandchildren: Weston and Kaylee Mitchell, Savannah and Kaitlyn Johnson and J.T. Flanagan all of Leonard. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his father-in-law, “Cotton” Green and his brother-in-law, Boyd Green.
