Mrs. Rosie Ethel Hooper, age 86 of Plano, TX, passed away July 5, 2005 in Plano. She was born October 15, 1918 in Mead, Oklahoma to William Bazzele and Rixnelle Alabama (Underwood) Clark. Mrs. Hooper married Walter Monroe Hooper on June 12, 1934 in Platter, Oklahoma. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Assembly of God Church in Plano. Survivors include her daughters, Mildred Hooten and husband William of Dallas, TX, Lillie Vansickle and husband Don of Terrell, Texas, Juanita Hicks and husband Alton of Alto, Texas, Glenda Pyles and husband Richard of Pottsboro, Texas and Debbie Hamill and husband Sonny of Hugo, Oklahoma; sons, Kyle Hooper of Plano, Walter Hooper Jr. and wife Jackie of Madill, Oklahoma, and Michael Hooper and wife Maria of Victoria, Texas; 23 grandchildren; 41 great-grandchildren; and 6 great-great-grandchildren. Her parents, Bazzele Clark and Rixnelle (Clark) Baker, husband, Walter Hooper, daughter, Naoma Catherine Wilson, and brother, Oguster Clark preceded her in death. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 PM, Friday, July 8, 2005, at the First Assembly of God Church, 1609 14th Street in Plano, Rev. Leonard Allgood officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, TX. Visitation will be from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Thursday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
