Rose Sexton, age 75, of Princeton, Texas, passed away September 2, 2012, in Princeton. Rose was born August 29, 1937, in Ft. Worth, Texas, to Ted R. and Maggie Pearl (Aldridge) Sellers. She worked for Crowder Cleaners and Metro Linen for thirty years retiring in 1995. She took care of her grandchildren after retirement. Rose loved fishing and camping. She was the world’s greatest Mother, Friend, and Nanny.
She is survived by her daughters, Brenda Linnabery and husband, Tom of McKinney, Texas, Paula McFarland and husband, Jimmy of Melissa, Texas, Rebecca Janke and husband, Doug of Wautaga, Texas, and Alice Gann and husband, Vester of Princeton, Texas; sons, Robert Sexton and wife, Rosa of Wylie, Texas and Ricky Sexton and wife, Cindy of Princeton, Texas; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-eight great-grandchildren; brother, Foy Sellers of Meeker, Oklahoma; and sister, Alice Brown of Cleburne, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, one brother, and ex-husband, Joe Sexton
A graveside service will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, September 6, 2012, at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Wednesday evening at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen.
