Rosalva Flores of Murphy, Texas passed away June 24, 2015 at the age of 64. She was born April 17, 1951 to Francisco Rodriguez and Angela (Cordova) Rodriguez in Mercedes, Texas. Rosalva married Anselmo Flores on April 8, 1972 in Flint, Michigan. She was a very strong woman who was positive and compassionate. Rosalva enjoyed playing the piano, and reading her bible... Her greatest love was spending time with her grandchildren, going out to eat with her family and attending church. She was of the Baptist faith.
Rosalva is survived by her husband, Anselmo Flores, Jr. of Murphy, Texas; daughters, Norma Flores of Wichita Falls, Texas, Cynthia Nguyen and husband Quyen of Lucas, Texas, Leticia Aquallo and husband Brian of Wichita Falls, Texas, Raquel Baylon and husband Pillo of Dallas, Texas; grandchildren, Laura Flores, Andrew Aquallo, Colin Nguyen, Lexus Aquallo, Kaley Nguyen, Diego Baylon, Frank Rodriguez and wife Dalia of Jefferson, Texas, Mary Guajardo and husband Juan of Houston, Texas, Lupita Marquez of Weslaco, Texas, Enrique Rodriguez of Dallas, Texas, Roy Rodriguez and wife Jan of Swartz Creek, Michigan, Ruben Rodriguez of Dallas, Texas, Enedelia Ortega and husband Jesse of Waco, Texas, Jaime Rodriguez and wife Rhonda of Lancaster, Texas, Debbie Ordonez and husband Efren of Parker, Texas, Linda Rodriguez of Mesquite, Texas; and mother, Angela Rodriguez of Parker, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her father, Francisco Rodriguez.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 29, 2015 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will immediately follow at Sacred Heart Cemetery in Rowlett, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Sunday, June 28, 2015 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
