Rosalind Lee Wall, age 87, of Plano, Texas, passed away June 9, 2010, in Plano. Rosalind was born March 5, 1923, in Rusk, Cherokee County, Texas to Wood Riland and Leota Melvina (White) Lee. She married Melvin Etheridge Wall, Sr. on February 2, 1946 in Dallas, Texas. He preceded her in death on April 23, 1991. Rosalind grew up in Dallas where she attended Sunset High School. She was a descendent of early Republic of Texas families. She is survived by her sons, Melvin E. Wall, Jr. of Plano, Texas and Cliff Wall and wife, Mary of Southlake, Texas; daughter, Dolores Maroney and husband, Terrell of Columbia, New Jersey; grandchildren, John Madison Wall, Donald Lee Wall, Christopher Wall, Marty Wall, Joseph Wall, James Wall, Elizabeth Wall, Katie Maroney, and Sarah Maroney; and four great-granddaughters. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and two sisters. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, June 12, 2010, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening beginning at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
