Rosalie Truncale

Rosalie Truncale, of Frisco, Texas, passed away January 1, 2013 at the age of 91.  She was born August 8, 1921, in Port Arthur, Texas, to Pelligrino and Mary (Lorena) Colletti.  On October 11, 1942, Rosalie married Pete Truncale, Jr., in Port Arthur. She and her husband owned Bluebonnett Grocery Store in Port Arthur. Rosalie was a member and served as secretary of the Italian Club in Port Arthur, the Altar Society of St. James Catholic Church in Port Arthur and the Bear With Me Ministry of Christ United Methodist Church in Plano, Texas. She was also a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church in Frisco, Texas. 

She is survived by her children, Peter Truncale, III and wife Renee of Garland, Texas, Dianne Truncale Long Casillo and husband Casey of Plano, Texas and Mary Jo Truncale of Little Elm, Texas; grandchildren, Ryan Long and wife Jennifer of Frisco, Texas, Megan Long Plese and husband Mark of Frisco, Texas, Brad Truncali and wife Amanda of McKinney, Texas and Christopher Truncale of Lovelady, Texas; step-grandchildren, Mike and Kristi Casillo of Edmond, Oklahoma; great-grandchildren, Keely, Cora, Alex, Bailey, Campbell, Rylee, Eli and Jayden.

Rosalie is preceded in death by her parents, husband and sister, Angeline Quartaro.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 2:30 p.m., Friday, January 4, 2013, at St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church, 8000 Eldorado Parkway, Frisco, Texas 75034.  Interment is being held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, January 7, 2013, at Greenlawn Memorial Park, 3900 Twin City Highway, Groves, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation, with a rosary, on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
