Ronald Lee Pearson of Dallas, Texas passed away on January 30, 2016 at the age of 61. He was born on July 18, 1954 to James and Margaret (Kent) Pearson in Amarillo, Texas. Ron married Donna Dungy on March 8, 1997 in Dallas, Texas. He was an Audio Visual Specialist in the security industry. Ron was a member of the Dallas Bible Church in Dallas, Texas and was a strong believer in Christ. Ron was a very giving person and loved his step-children and grandchildren very much.
Ron is survived by his loving wife of almost nineteen years, Donna Pearson of Dallas, Texas; his mother, Margaret Pearson of Amarillo, Texas; his step-son, Jared Smith and wife Jennifer of Fairview, Texas; his step-daughter, Ashley Key and husband Jason of Golden, Colorado; his sister, Margery McCort of Amarillo, Texas; his brother, Bob Pearson of Montana; his grandchildren, Caroline Smith, Matthew Smith, Elizabeth Smith, Luke Smith, Georgia Key; and numerous other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his father James Joseph Pearson; and his brothers, Dick Pearson, and “Jeepy” Pearson.
A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, February 4, 2016 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening, February 3, 2016 from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
