Robin McClellan Kemp, age 58, of McKinney, Texas, passed away December 15, 2011, in McKinney. Robin was born July 24, 1953, in McKinney, Texas, to Billy R. and Patsy (Cottle) McClellan. She married David Kemp in 1987, in Frisco, Texas. Robin was a licensed vocational nurse. She was a member of First Assembly of God in McKinney. She is survived by her husband, David of McKinney, Texas; sons, Josh Recer and wife, Elaine of Sherman, Texas and Chris Recer of Dallas, Texas; mother, Patsy McClellan Caldwell and husband, James of McKinney, Texas; brother, Joe McClellan and wife, Amy of Farmersville, Texas; sister, Becky McClellan of McKinney, Texas; granddaughter, Laney Recer; grandsons, Jaxon Recer, Koal Recer, Ryder Recer, and Dane, Recer; mother-in-law, Margaret Kemp of McKinney, Texas; and numerous other nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Billy R. McClellan, son, Jeremy Kemp, grandmother, Clemmye Cottle, and father-in-law, Bill Kemp. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 20, 2011, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas with Pastor Dennis George officiating. Interment will follow at Melissa Cemetery in Melissa, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at the funeral home.
