Mrs. Robin Newton Hagin, age 60, of Garland, Texas passed away December 19, 2009, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on August 2, 1949, in Hopewell, Virginia to Herbert Frank and Olga (Wolosuk) Newton. She attended Okalossa-Walton Jr. College in Florida. On March 12, 1994, she married Don Hagin in Garland, Texas. Robin worked for Kraft Foods for over 25 years. She was a member of the Arapaho Road Baptist Church in Garland. She enjoyed cooking and was known for always taking care of everybody else before herself. Robin is survived by her husband, Don; children, Scott Smith and his wife, Stephanie of Longview, Texas, Stacy Betty and her husband, Robert of Garland, Terry Hagin and his wife, Lynn of Royse City, Texas, and Renay Nieto and her husband, John of Rockwall, Texas; grandchildren, Noah Betty, Nathan Hagin, Ruth Hagin, Caleb Hagin, Quint Nieto, Anaya Nieto, John Clark and Jimmy Clark; 5 great grandchildren; mother, Olga Newton of Prince George, Virginia; and niece Rachel Walker of Tallahassee, Florida. She was preceded in death by her father, Herbert Newton and sister, Kim Newton Walker. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, December 23, 2009, at the Arapaho Road Baptist Church, 2256 Arapaho Rd. in Garland. A graveside service will follow at 3:00 p.m., at Fitzhugh Cemetery, 2540 Country Club Rd., Allen, Texas 75002. The family will receive friends for a visitation from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
