Mr. Robert Raymond Turner, age 68, of Plano, Texas passed away October 31, 2006 at his home. He was born March 1, 1938, in Maxwell, Iowa to Charles A. and Hazel (Ayers) Turner. He served his country in the U.S. Army. On October 25, 1959, he married Marlene Redman in Van Wert, Iowa. Mr. Turner was a contractor and of the Protestant faith. He is survived by his wife of forty-seven years, Marlene; children Julie Lyn Harris and her husband, Phillip, of Garland, TX, Randy Douglas Turner and his wife, Nancy, of Plano, TX, and Jodie Kay Turner of Richardson, TX; grandchildren Michael Loun, Randy Swallows, Kristin Winningham, Jamie Loun, Laura Loun, Kimberly Loun, Bethany Harris, Seb Harris, Jacob Turner, Alli Turner and Morgan Turner; sisters Kathryn McKitrick and Doris Haley; brother Charles A. Turner, Jr.; mother-in-law Oneta L. Redman; and a host of other family and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents; brothers Forrest and Francis Turner; and sisters Jenny Lewis and Mabel Morris. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, November 4, 2006, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends from 7:00 – 9:00 PM, Friday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
