Robert Larry "Bo" Moore

Robert Larry “Bo” Moore, age 61, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on June 24, 2009 in Dallas. Bo was born July 14, 1947 in Dallas, Texas, to Robert Lee and Edna (Dotson) Moore. He married Rhonda J. Dunn on October 21, 2006 in Plano, Texas. Bo was a new custom home salesman for the past several years. He began his career as a science teacher and basketball coach at Saltillo High School in Saltillo, Texas and also taught at Bishop Dunne High School in Dallas. In the 70’s, he owned a night club in Dallas where he booked such acts as Willie Nelson and Jimmy Buffet. He received his Master of Science degree from East Texas State University in Commerce where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon Fraternity. Bo enjoyed playing golf and traveling. He had a passion for history and Abraham Lincoln. He was an accomplished guitarist and singer. His passion for life made him an extremely loyal and generous friend to hundreds. He is survived by his wife, Rhonda Moore of Dallas, Texas; daughter, Sydney Moore of Carrollton, Texas; sisters, Barbara Spraggins and husband Gerald of Pensacola, Florida, Judy Gorham and husband Steve of Krum, Texas and Terri Eason and husband Nathan of Austin, Texas; step-daughter, Amy Felker and husband Bud of Trophy Club, Texas; grandchildren, Dylan Felker and Austin Felker; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and nephew, Darren Gorham. A memorial service will be held at 4:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 7, 2009 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas.
