Robert Charles Kerns, age 66, of McKinney, Texas passed away April 28, 2008. He was born May 6, 1941, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania to John F. and Helen A. (Damacheseck) Kerns. On October 10, 1964 he married Pamela Sue Leana in Massena, New York. Robert proudly served in the United States Air Force and was a veteran of Vietnam. After his retirement from the military, Robert worked for Analog Devices. He also worked at Tenet Hospital in Marietta, California as Director of Security. He is survived by his wife, Pamela Kerns of McKinney; daughter, Kira Thrailkill and husband, David of Frisco, Texas; grandchildren, Danyelle and Ashley; brother, John A. Kerns of Melbourne, Florida and mother-in-law, Norma E. Leana of McKinney, Texas; nieces and nephews, John Robert Kerns, Susan Williams, Lynda McCutcheon. He was preceded in death by his parents, John and Helen Kerns. A memorial service with full military honors will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, May 17, 2008, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, with Rev. Pete Robertson officiating.
