Robert Dean “Bob” Keith, age 68, of Plano, Texas, passed away August 8, 2014, in Plano. Bob was born October 9, 1945, in Ralls, Texas, to Elbert John and Mary Marie (Embree) Keith. He married Barbara Ann Thornton on July 3, 1965, in Gladewater, Texas. Bob was an engineering technician with Texas Instruments for thirty years at both the Richardson and Sherman plants. He was a member of the American Legion in Plano. Bob enjoyed woodworking.
He is survived by his wife, Barbara Keith of Plano, Texas; daughter, Kimberlea Keith Gillem and husband, Stephen of Sulphur Springs, Texas; grandchildren, Mason Gillem and Seth Gillem; brother, James Keith and wife, Vangie of Anna, Texas; niece, Cammie Depke and husband, Jim of Chicago, Illinois; and great nephew and niece, Daniel Depke and Sarah Depke.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Monday, August 11, 2014, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Sunday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive guests an hour prior to the service and at a reception following the service at the funeral home.
