Jerry Jeffers passed away on January 30, 2008 due to a sudden illness. Jerry spent most of his life in Texas and Oklahoma, and also spent time in Wyoming, Minnesota and even Guadalajara, Mexico. He was well traveled, not only from his time served in the U. S. Navy, but from his adventurous nature and love of motorcycles and classic cars. Over his 66 years, Jerry exhibited a work ethic and spirit of entrepreneurship not commonly seen. In addition to spending over 25 years working in the Oil & Gas industry, he has owned and operated several businesses over the years. Most recently he worked in the field of industrial emission testing, using his knowledge and experience on many challenging projects, including several trips to China, where he was preparing to establish a business operation. He was looking so forward to this opportunity. Jerry leaves behind many, many friends that admired his determination and were touched by his kind and generous heart. He will be greatly missed, but possibly not by anyone or anything more than his 2 dogs, Mugs and Felice. God Bless Jerry Jeffers. A memorial service was held Saturday, February 2, 2008 at 2:00pm at the Fairview Baptist Church Chapel in Sherman, Texas.
