Robert "Dobber" Hembling

Robert “Dobber” Hembling, age 79, of Frisco, Texas passed away February 8, 2007 in Plano, Texas. He was born August 12, 1927, in Red Bank, New Jersey, to Minor Victor and Helen (Healier) Hembling. On January 14, 1956 he married Carol Jean Hardy in Red Bank, New Jersey. Dobber served his country in the US Army. He was a carpenter and member of Trinity Presbyterian Church in McKinney, Texas. He served his community as a volunteer fireman in Red Bank, New Jersey and was a scout leader, Pop Warner Football coach and Little League Baseball coach in Lincroft, New Jersey. He is survived by his wife of fifty-one years, Carol; sons Brian Hembling and his wife Quenby of Spring, Texas and Drew Hembling and his wife Nicole of Saudi Arabia; daughter Linda Fusco and her husband Doug of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren Tanner and Jordan Hembling of Saudi Arabia and Zachary and Spencer Fusco of McKinney, Texas; sisters Beatrice Cottrell of Florida, Helen Coyne of Red Bank, NJ, Ann Steinberg of Lincroft, NJ and June Kolacki of Howell, NJ; and several nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. Preceding him in death were his parents; sister Dorothy Becker; and brother Raymond Hembling. A memorial service will be held at 2:30 PM, Tuesday, February 13, 2007 at Trinity Presbyterian Church, McKinney, Texas with Pastor Patricia McCoy officiating. Inurnment will precede the service at DFW National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Trinity Presbyterian Church, 5871 Virginia Parkway, McKinney, TX 75071.
