Robert “Bob” Brown Turley of Fairview, Texas passed away July 8, 2013 at the age of 74. He was born December 18, 1938 to RL and Blanche (Murphy) Turley in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Bob grew up in Lubbock, Texas. He was a graduate of Texas Tech University with a degree in Petroleum Engineering. Bob served his country proudly in the United States Army. He married Shirlee Hanton-Greening on February 14, 1980 in Dallas, Texas. Bob owned and operated Advantage Printing Equipment Company for eleven years and worked as a salesman in the printing industry for fifty-two years. He enjoyed tournament fishing, golfing, horse racing as well as photography.
Bob is survived by his wife, Shirlee Turley of Fairview, Texas; children, Debbie Campolo and husband Mark of San Antonio, Texas; Dawn Mitchell and husband Ralph of Boerne, Texas; James Turley and wife Terri of Moody, Texas; Missy Craig and husband Justin of West, Texas; Brian Greening and wife Lora of The Colony, Texas; Dane Greening and wife Jana of Celina, Texas; 18 grandchildren and a host of other loving family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, RL and Blanche Turley and his brother, Johnny Turley.
The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday evening from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas. A family graveside service will be held 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 16, 2013 at Greenwood Cemetery in Eufaula, Oklahoma.
