Robbie Frances Bowen Nargang, 91 year old Leonard resident, passed away Friday June 9, 2017 at the Texoma Medical Center at Denison, Texas. She was born February 17, 1926 at Ballinger, Texas. Her parents were Thomas Benton and Emma Kate Mayes Bowen. She married John G. Nargang November 27, 1945 at Dallas, Texas. She worked over forty years as a bookkeeper for Pratt A/V and Video in Cedar Rapids, Iowa and she was a member of the Presbyterian Church. She will be buried beside her husband of 54 years at Cedar Memorial Park in Cedar Rapids, Iowa.

Robbie is survived by her grandchildren: Robyn “Tori” Thomas of Reading, PA and John Benton Thomas of Tulsa, OK; her great-granddaughter, Stella Elizabeth Thomas, of Tulsa, OK; her brother: Jack Bowen of Van Alstyne, Texas, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, T.B. and Emma Kate Bowen; her husband, John G. Nargang; her daughter, Donna Jeanne (Nargang) Thomas; her sister: Billie Jo Edwards and her brother, T.W. Bowen, Sr.
