Ricky Dean, age 50, of McKinney, Texas passed away Thursday, March 1, 2007 in Denton, Texas. He was born July 13, 1956, in McKinney, Texas to Haskell and Mary Jo (Cook) Dean. On September 8, 1978, Ricky married Lisa Kitchens in McKinney. Mr. Dean worked as a carpenter. Ricky was a hardworking and selfless individual who always put the needs of family and friends far ahead of his own. Ricky's integrity rang in every aspect of his life and the relationships of those around him. He is survived by his wife, Lisa Dean of McKinney, Texas; son, Dennis Dean and his wife Alesha of McKinney, Texas; grand daughter, Mia Lynn Dean; brothers, H.C. Dean of Wolff City, Texas, Terry Cook of Van Alstyne, Texas, Billy Dean of McKinney, Texas, Harold Dean of Prosper, Texas; sister, Brenda Edwards of Trenton, Texas; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives and friends. Preceding him in death were his parents and brothers, David and Larry Dean. A Memorial Service will be held at 4:00 PM, Tuesday, March 6, 2007 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel, Allen, Texas. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Monday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a remembrance gathering on Monday evening beginning at 7 PM.
