Mr. Rickey Ray Rutledge, age 57, of Plano, Texas, passed away May 13, 2004, in Dallas, Texas. He was born August 3, 1946, in Princeton, Texas, to M. H. and Verna (Warren) Rutledge. He married Mary Sue Tullous on December 15, 1968, in Richardson, Texas. He worked for F.E.M.A. and was of the Christian faith. He was a proud and adoring grandfather, a devoted husband, a caring father, and the greatest friend you could ever have. He is survived by his wife, Mary S. Rutledge of Plano, Texas; son, Steven R. Rutledge (Rusti); daughter, Melissa Sue Rutledge; granddaughters, Jayla Rhea Rutledge and Rusti Rhea Ann Rutledge; grandson, James Marion Rutledge, all of Plano; mother, Verna Rhea Rutledge of Parinceton, Texas; and brothers, Kenneth Sirkle of Gun Barrel City, Texas, and Jerry Sirkle of Princeton. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Monday, May 17, 2004, at the Princeton Cemetery. Visitation will be from 10:00 to 12:00 P.M., Sunday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
