Mr. Rick Maldonado, age 43, of Plano, Texas passed away April 14, 2004, at the Medical Center of Plano. He was born November 28, 1960, in Kentfield, California to Louis and Trudi (Velez) Maldonado. On September 3, 1988, he married Kelli Dane in Garden Grove, California. He was a marketing representative for Mosaic, a computer software company. He was also a member of the Grace Community Church of Plano, Texas. He is survived by his wife, Kelli Maldonado of Plano; children, Marci, Ricky, Joshua and John Maldonado; mother, Trudi Matlock and step-father, Guy of Santa Ana, California; father, Louis Maldonado; half brother, Louis Maldonado of Tracy, California; half sisters, Stephanie Thompson of Utah and Michele Zaragosa also of Tracy, California; mother and father-in-law, John and Pat Dane; sisters-in-law, Lori Reed and husband, Charles and Terri Ramos and husband, Raul; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, April 17, 2004, at Grace Community Church, 4501 Hedgecoxe, Plano, Texas. Pastor Steve Lucas will be officiating the services. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
