Richard Arnold Stewart, age 75, of Princeton, Texas, passed away December 13, 2009, in McKinney, Texas. Richard was born August 13, 1934, in Greenwood, Arkansas, to Wilbert and Lucy Stewart. He lived in Arkansas for a short time and then moved to Madison Heights, Michigan where he grew up. He married Barbara Fewell. Richard retired as SMSGT from the United States Air Force after thirty years of service. He served in both the Korean Conflict and the Vietnam War. Richard was employed with EDS in communications for twelve years. He is survived by his wife, Barbara of Princeton, Texas; son, Alex Stewart and wife, Barbara of Melbourne, Florida; daughters, Anne Martin, Robin Kirkey and husband, Stan, and Teresa Beasley, all of Princeton, Texas; eight grandchildren, Richard Martin, Christy Martin, Stanley Kirkey, Jr., Kayla Martin, Michael Beasley, Timmy Beasley, Chelsea and BarJo DiCamillo; three great-grandchildren, Jesse, Charish and Dameon; brother, Jerry Stewart of Rochester, Michigan; and sister, Diana Underwood of St. Helen, Michigan. He was preceded in death by his parents and son, Greg Stewart. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday, December 18, 2009, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends during a visitation from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m., Thursday evening at the funeral home.
