Richard (Rick) Trimble of Fairview, Texas passed away August 8, 2013 at the age of 69. He was born February 28, 1944 to Jerry and Juanita (Bedell) Trimble in Fairfield, Iowa. Richard was raised in Burlington, Iowa. He served in the United States Navy aboard aircraft carrier “Bon Homme Richard” and served two tours of duty in Vietnam War. Richard met and married the love of his life, Sally Clark in Corcoran, California. They married on February 5, 1966. He was a graduate from Iowa State University where he earned an electrical engineering degree. Richard worked for Motorola, E-Systems, MCI and retired in 2009 from Raytheon (E-Systems) Garland. His greatest achievement in life was his children, Jill and Ross. He enjoyed traveling, hiking and spending time with his family and friends. Rick never met a stranger and will be dearly missed by all.
He is survived by his wife of 47 years, Sally Trimble of Fairview, Texas; daughter, Jill Ragon and son in law, Bobby of Garland, Texas; son, Ross Trimble and daughter in law, Randi Trimble of McKinney, Texas; sister, Pat Cooper and brother in law, Jim of Rochester, Minnesota; sister in law, Myra Lynch of Albuquerque, New Mexico; brother in law, Dick Lynch also of Albuquerque, New Mexico and many cousins, nieces and nephews from coast to coast.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, August 23, 2013 at Creekwood United Methodist Church, 261 Country Club Road, Allen, Texas 75002.
