Richard Reginald Neville

Richard Reginald Neville, age 86, of McKinney, Texas, formerly of Oceanside, California, died on December 22, 2007. Richard was born in Spokane, Washington to Reginald John and Olga Hilstad Neville. He spent his younger years in Spokane with sisters, Dorothy and Joan. During WW II Richard served as a B-26 bomber pilot in the Army Air Corp and flew numerous combat missions over France, Belgium and Germany. Richard was a general contractor by trade and lived mostly in the Los Angeles and North San Diego counties. He and his wife of 35 years, Florence, spent many happy years exploring the Pacific Northwest in their travel trailer, fishing, stamp collecting, and playing cards. Together they built a second home in Lake Havasu and spent four years enjoying the Arizona desert sun. Survivors include his sister, Dorothy Ehrenberg of Cucamonga, California; son, Greg R. Neville and wife, Debra of Encinitas, California; step-daughter, Susan Monaghan and husband, Tom of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Nicole Manuelli of South Pasadena, California; daughter, Jana Adams of San Juan Capistrano, California; and grandchildren, Jesse, Andrew, Rebecca, Brian, Kevin, Tori, Jenny, Katie and Christopher. Richard was preceded in death by his parents Reginald and Olga; wife, Florence; son, John Richard Neville; and his sister, Joan.
