Richard Clarence "Red" Hill

Red Hill of Plano, Texas passed away on December 30, 2015 at the age of 70. He was born April 20, 1945 to Virgil Melton and Edith Lucille (Swancy) Hill in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. Red married Geralynn Guthrie in the summer of 2000. He was a facilities manager and electrician for Texas Instruments for twenty-two years. Most recently, Red was a truck driver for Western Dairy Transport. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy.

Red is survived by his loving wife, Geralynn Hill of Plano, Texas; daughter, Andie Perez and husband Ben of Allen, Texas; stepsons, Martin Bullington and wife Kristi of Greenville, Texas, Wayne Bullington and wife Ashley of Arkansas; grandchild, Corey Perez; sisters, Sherry Farthing, Estelle Houck, both of Durant, Oklahoma; brother, Virgil Hill of Mead, Oklahoma; and a number of other loving relatives.

He was preceded in death by his parents.      

The family will receive friends during a visitation on Saturday, January 2, 2016 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, January 3, 2016 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will be held at 1:00 p.m., Wednesday, January 6, 2016 at Dallas-Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway, Dallas, Texas.
