Mr. Richard “Dick” Stowe Vogler, age 87, of Plano, Texas passed away July 9, 2006 in Plano. He was born January 27, 1919 in Indianapolis, Indiana to Lewis and Nina Vogler. He attended Butler University in Indianapolis where he competed in track and field and was a member of Sigma Chi. He served his country in the US Air Force. On September 5, 1976 he married Mary Jordan in Taos, New Mexico. He is survived by his wife Mary; children Susan and husband Barry Lowrance of Amarillo, TX, Ann and husband Eldon Stapp of Amarillo, Sherri and husband Gary Johnson of Plano,TX, Kerri & husband Ron Jilek of Midlothian, TX and William Edward and wife Kim Willis, Jr., of Montgomery, TX; twelve grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brother Lewis Vogler of San Francisco, CA; nephew Chris Vogler of San Francisco, CA.
