Richard "Dick" Franklin Coker

Dick was born on January 13, 1952 in Laramie, Wyoming. He went home to be with his Lord & Savior on April 19, 2006. He was a graduate of Brazosport High School in Freeport, Texas and the University of Texas in Austin. Dick was a member of McKinney Fellowship Bible Church. He owned and operated JBS Tool and Fastener, a home building contractor supply business in Allen, Texas. Dick was a loving husband, father and grandfather. Dick’s survivors include his wife of 31 years, Vicki; his daughter, Sarah Martinez and four grandchildren, Alex, Gabi, Javi and Izabelle of McKinney, Texas. His two sisters, Pamela Speir of Sugarland, Texas and Charlotte Whitten of Dallas, Texas; brother, Jim Coker of Austin; father, Bill Coker of McKinney, Texas. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dorothy Coker. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, April 22, 2006 at the McKinney Fellowship Bible Church in McKinney, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 7:00 to 9:00 PM, Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Community Hospice of Texas, 8150 Brookriver Drive Suite 110, Dallas, Texas 75247.
