Rev. Freddie Pratt

Rev. Freddie Pratt, age 89, of Frisco, Texas passed away on August 11, 2013. He was born on September 12, 1923 in Corsicana, Texas to Catherine (Alexander) and L.B. “Pepper” Pratt. On April 1, 1944, Freddie married Ethel Perry in Yuma, Arizona. He worked in Commercial Construction and served in the United States Army as a Sharp Shooter, receiving medals for the American Theater Campaign, Good Conduct, and World War II Victory.

Rev. Freddie is survived by his wife, Ethel Pratt of Frisco, Texas; eight children, Shirley Woods of Denton, Texas, Tommy Pratt of Dallas, Texas, Michael Pratt and his wife, Linda of Lewisville, Texas, Carl Pratt and his wife, Laura of Denton, Texas, Dianne Polk of Frisco, Texas, Billy J. Pratt and his wife, Elizabeth of Garland, Texas, Norvelle Curry and her husband, Donald of Frisco, Texas and Joyce King of Frisco, Texas; twenty-three grandchildren, twenty-eight great-grandchildren and eighteen great great-grandchildren.

Rev. Freddie is preceded in death by a grandchild, Tony Brown, great-grandchild, Shanbrika Pratt and parents, Catherine and L.B. “Pepper” Pratt.

A Funeral Service will be held at First United Methodist Church in Frisco on Friday, August 16, 2013 at 10:30 AM. A Private Interment will be held at DFW National Cemetery. Family and friends are invited to a Visitation at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Frisco on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
