Rev. Floyd Allen Logan

Rev. Floyd Allen Logan, age 82, of McKinney, Texas, formerly of Saginaw, Michigan, passed away May 24, 2015.  Floyd was born March 25, 1933, in Americus, Georgia, to Robert and Willie Bell (Biggins) Logan, Sr.  He married Eudora Gaddis on June 5, 1965, in Saginaw, Michigan.  Rev. Logan attend United Theological Seminary in Flint, Michigan.  He was the pastor at New Hope Missionary Baptist Church in Saginaw for twenty years.  Rev. Logan was involved with the “Gathering the Harvest”  street ministry in Saginaw.  He was a member of Eternity Community Church in Frisco, Texas.  Rev. Logan was an avid golfer and bowler and was known to his grandchildren as “Poppie”. 

He leaves to celebrate his life, wife, Eudora Logan of McKinney, Texas; daughters, Kimberly Bailey and husband, Ken of McKinney, Texas, Natalie Logan of Benton Harbor, Michigan, and Hilda Calhoun and husband, Lamont of Powder Springs, Georgia; grandchildren, Kendra Bailey, Logan Calhoun, and Lamont Calhoun; brother, Samuel Logan and wife, Jimmie of Saginaw, Michigan;  three nieces; one nephew and god-daughter, Betty Epperson, also of Saginaw.

He was preceded in death by his father, Robert Logan, Sr., mother, Willie Bell Fielder, and brother, Robert Logan, Jr.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, May 30, 2015, at Eternity Community Church, 12550 Independence Pkwy., Frisco, Texas, 75035.
