Reginald Melvin “Reggie” Dodson, age 75, of Frisco, Texas, passed away on November 5, 2015. He was born on July 27, 1940 in Martinsville, Virginia to Melvin and Evelyn (McCallum) Dodson. On August 23, 1960, Reggie married Sylvia McCall in Virginia. He proudly served his country in the United States Army Reserve. Reggie lived in the Plano/McKinney area for 40 years. He was employed at R. J. Reynolds Tobacco Company, in Sales Management, for 33 years. Reggie was very interested in the stock market; he enjoyed traveling, poker and spending time with his many friends. Reggie cherished and loved his family dearly.
He is survived by his wife, Sylvia J. Dodson of Frisco, Texas; daughters, Deanne Ball and husband Kevin of Highland Village, Texas, Debbie Goodwin of McKinney, Texas; grandchildren, McKenzie Ball, Savannah Ball and Colton Goodwin; sister-in-law, Cynthia MacElroy and husband Bill; nephew, Darren McCall and family; many other loving relatives and friends.
Reggie is preceded in death by his parents.
A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas.
