Mrs. Rebecca “Becky” Jaska Crowley, 56, passed away Monday, September 19, 2011 in her home in Anna, Texas. Becky was born in Hillsboro, Texas to Ernest H. “Bobo” Jaska and Virginia Muehlstein Jaska, the oldest daughter of eight children. She was a graduate of Muenster High School and attended Texas Women’s University where she received a Bachelor of Science degree, and then attended East Texas State University in Commerce, Texas where she received a Master of Education. Becky married David Crowley in 1979 at St. Mary’s Church of the Assumption in Waco, Texas. Becky began as a teacher in 1976 and then later worked as an Educational Diagnostician for 29 years throughout the North Texas area. She retired from Allen ISD in June 2010. She is survived by her loving family including her husband David Crowley of Anna, Texas; daughters Heather Crowley of Little Elm, Texas, Christy and husband, Scott Kenady, of RAF Mildenhall, England and Kimberly Crowley of Anna, Texas; father-in-law Gaylen Crowley of Little Elm, Texas; brothers Michael and wife, Linda Jaska of College Station, Texas, Mark and wife, Lucy Jaska of Modesto, California, Matthew and wife, Gretchen Jaska of Katy, Texas, Christopher and wife, Lisa Jaska of Bruceville, Texas, David and wife, Carolyn Jaska of College Station, Texas; sisters Alexandra and husband, Bill Wetterman, Jr. of McKinney, Texas and Bridget and husband, Jim Krahula of Pflugerville, Texas; several nieces and nephews, cousins and many friends. Becky was preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Virginia Jaska and her mother-in-law, Rose Crowley. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, September 23, 2011, at St. Gabriel's Catholic Church in McKinney, Texas. Internment will follow at Fatima Cemetery in Abbott, Texas. The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. with a praying of the rosary at 7 p.m. on Thursday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Gabriel the Archangel’s “Clearing the Ground” Debt Reduction campaign.
