Mrs. Reba Ruth Jones, age 88, of McKinney, Texas passed away January 20, 2007, in Plano, Texas. She was born November 28, 1918, in Ferris, Texas to Thomas Allen and Nellie Rae (Lander) Pannell. On December 26, 1935, she married Burtis E. Jones in Plano, Texas. Mrs. Jones was a homemaker and a member of the Forest Grove Christian Church. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, Billy Don and Judy Jones of Telephone, Texas, Gary and Janette Jones of McKinney; daughter and son-in-law, Sherry and Tommy Jones of Allen, Texas; sister, Louise Hedgecoxe of Plano; and brother and sister-in-law, Quincy and Glenda Pannell also of Plano; 9 grandchildren, 24 great grandchildren, 3 great great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Burtis Jones; and two sisters, Doris Reed and Tommie Glidewell. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 23, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Kenneth Crawford officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Monday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation Monday evening 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.
