Mr. Raymond Clifton Martin of Blue Ridge, Texas passed away January 3, in McKinney, Texas.
He was born March 1, 1921 in Mountain Air, New Mexico the son of Virgil and Golda Culpepper Martin.
He was a retired seed salesman for Bottlinger Grain and was married to Mertie Alsbrooks in Blue Ridge, Texas. He served in the U.S. Army and was of Baptist Faith. He is survived by his wife of Justin, Texas, children; Jimmy Ray Martin of Deming, N.M., Kathryn Ann Phillips of Broken Arrow, Ok, Lora Shirlene Hunter of Skiatook, Ok, and Peggy Darlene Blair of Blue Ridge, Texas. He is also survived by 1 sister; Carolyn McPherson of Fort Worth, Texas, and 2 brothers; James Martin of Wilmington N.C. and William Martin of California. He is also survived by a number of grand children and great grandchildren.
