Ray Allen “Bud” Landers, age 55, of Murphy, Texas passed away February 15, 2010. He was born August 26, 1954 in Dallas, Texas to J.B. and Billie (Cloud) Landers. On August 27, 1976 he married Piinani Oana in Bonham, Texas. Ray proudly served in the United States Marines, where he was awarded the National Defense Service Medal, Good Conduct Medal and the Rifle Marksmanship Badge. He was a veteran of Vietnam. He was survived by his wife, Piinani Landers of Murphy, Texas; daughters, Larissa Hambrick and husband, Dusty of Bonham, Texas, Lauren Landers of Dallas, Texas; grandson, Lander Hayes Hambrick of Bonham, Texas; mother, Billie June Landers of Bonham, Texas; sisters, Linda Rich of Bonham, Texas, Laura Hartnett of Bonham, Texas, Cynthia Maxwell of Bonham, Texas and a host of other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, J.B. Landers. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Thursday, February 18, 2010 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Rev. Randy McBroom officiating. Interment will follow at Morris Chapel Cemetery in Bonham, Texas. Family and friends are invited to the funeral home at their convenience on Wednesday to pay their respects and to sign the register book. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Wednesday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
