Raul Reyes, Sr., age 49, of Greenville, Texas, passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by family and friends. His battle of Von Hippell Lindau was fought courageously. He was born August 15, 1961, to Felipe and Alicia Reyes. He was of the Catholic faith. He is survived by his children, Raul Reyes, Jr. and Amy Reyes, Sara and Steven Schulte, and Ana Reyes and Cielo Reyes; grandchildren, Helena, William, and Daniel Schulte and Noah Reyes and Austyn Turner; brother, Ernesto and Diane Reyes; sister, Yolanda Reyes; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, and a sister. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Wednesday, January 19, 2011, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday evening at the funeral home with a rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Von Hippell Lindau foundation in his name.
