Randall Scott Sanders, age 46, of Plano, Texas went to be with his Lord and Savior on April 11, 2009. He was born February 14, 1963 in Heidelberg, Germany to Jerry and Sandra Sanders. On August 17, 1985 he married Darla (Rains) Sanders of Plano, Texas. Scott graduated from Richardson High School in 1981 and was a member of the track team. He received his associate’s degree from Richland College. His love for the Lord was strong, being a Deacon at Hunters Glen Baptist Church. He served the Lord his entire life in many ways. He was also devoted to his family. His involvement with his son’s activities ranged from being a great coach to avid cheerleader. As an enthusiastic golfer, he enjoyed playing in tournaments with friends and family. He is survived by his wife, Darla Sanders of Plano, Texas; sons, Nathan Brice Sanders and Grant Marshall Sanders both of Plano, Texas; brothers, John Sanders and wife, Shellie of McKinney, Texas, Matt Sanders and wife, Leah of Midlothian, Texas; parents, Jerry and Sandra Sanders of Plano, Texas; nieces, Maracyn Kay Sanders and Maddie Michelle Sanders; nephew, Dawson Matthew Sanders and a host of other loving family and friends. He was preceded in death by his brother, Steven Marshall Sanders. A memorial service will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2009 at Hunters Glen Baptist Church with Pastor Kim Hall officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday evening beginning at 7:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
