RANDAL GUY WOOD, age 56, was born March 3, 1954 to LaMont and Anita Wood in Dallas, Texas, and died April 7, 2010 after a hard fought battle with cancer. A 1972 graduate of W. T. White High School in Dallas, Texas, he excelled in his career and was the owner of Knox Paint Company in Dallas at the time of his death. He was an avid outdoorsman, who loved to hunt and fish. He enjoyed the lake life and spent many happy years boating on Lake Texoma. He loved the camaraderie of all his friends and family. He was a self motivated and self made man, leaving many lives touched in many ways. He was a loyal friend who saw real value in those he loved. His many long standing friendships speak to the kind of man he was. Preceded in death by his father, LaMont, he leaves behind his wife, Belinda, his mother, Anita, his sister Marcia and her husband, Raymond Rodgers; his daughter, Lori and her husband Richard Daniels; his niece, Melinda and her husband, Lance White and their son, Coley; his nephew, Travis and his son, Ryan Rodgers, and his nephew Justin Rowland. He left many many friends who will miss him dearly. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Monday, April 12, 2010 at the First United Methodist Church in Carrollton, 2201 Hebron Parkway, Carrollton, Texas. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, a donation be made to the American Cancer Society or to the charity of your choice .
