Ramona Pearlene Murley, age 74, of Plano, Texas, passed away March 20, 2010, in McKinney, Texas. Ramona was born June 28, 1935, in Oklahoma to Everett Van and Lou Ellen (Mayo) Petty. She married James Leroy Murley on June 28, 1952 in Weston, Texas. Ramona was of the Church of Christ faith. She is survived by her sons, Jim Murley and wife, Darlene of Plano, Texas and Mike Murley of North Richland Hills, Texas; nine grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Robinson of Princeton, Texas; brothers, Lewis Petty of New Hope, Texas, Earl Petty and Roy Petty, both of Princeton, Texas, and Johnny Petty of Culleoka, Texas; and numerous other loving relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, James Murley, sons, George, Milton, Jerry, and James Murley, and sister, Rea Ellen Robinson. Funeral services will be held at 4:00 p.m., Wednesday, March 24, 2010, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel in Allen, Texas. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen. The family will receive friends during a visitation beginning at 7:00 p.m., Tuesday evening at the funeral home.
