Ralph Lynn Brown, age 71, of Princeton, Texas passed away February 8, 2011. He was born June 28, 1939 in McKinney, Texas to Claude Brown and Edna Lewis Brown. On August 9, 1981 he married Joyce Mobbs in Mesquite, Texas. He Graduated from Crozier Tech High School in Dallas, Texas. Ralph proudly served in the United States Marine Corps. He was employed as an electronic engineering with Southwestern Bell, where he retired in 1984 after 30 years of service. Following his retirement, Joyce and Ralph managed La Quinta Inns and traveled extensively. He is survived by his wife, Joyce Brown of Princeton, Texas; sons, Jimmy Brown of Rockport, Texas, David Brown of McKinney, Texas; daughter, Barbara Martin and husband, Danny of Woodsboro, Texas; step-children, Marcie Vaughn and husband, Brian of Dallas, Texas, Eddie Hall and wife, Vickie Lone Oak, Texas; grandchildren, Robert Brake and wife, Mary Beth, Michael Stone and wife, Debra, Alissa Norris and husband, Kyle, Brittany Vaughn, Ashley Vernon and husband, Mike Scalf, David Quintal, Jr. and wife, Melissa, Jenny Hall, Chris Hall and Allan Hall; great-grandchildren, Natalie Brake, Jacob Brake, Rhianna Stone, Makaela Stone, Charlotte Lowery, Kaden Norris, Jaxon Scalf, Brayden Scalf, Westin Quintal, Brandon Quintal, Nathaniel Hall, Johnah Hall, numerous nieces, nephews and other loving family members and many, many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Edna Brown; step-daughter, Kay Quintal; sisters, Margie Brown, Nelda Payne and Denny Condra; brother, Lewis Brown and nephew, Ricky Condra. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 12, 2011 at First Baptist Church of McKinney with Rev. Randy Morlan and Rev. Larry Rice officiating. Interment will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Friday evening beginning at 5:00 p.m., at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
