Mrs. Rachel Faye Lindsey, age 91, of McKinney, Texas passed away October 27, 2006 in McKinney. She was born April 22, 1915, in Navarro County, Texas to J.D. and Jeanette (Champion) Freeman. On March 31, 1935, she married Troy Rogers Lindsey in Durant, Oklahoma. Mrs. Lindsey was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith. She is survived by her sons, Johnny Lindsey and wife, Sue and Rick Lindsey all of McKinney; grandchildren, Joy Parkhill and husband, Clay of Richardson, Texas, Kay Nichols and husband, Steve, Troy Lindsey and wife, Lara and Jennifer Faye Lindsey all of McKinney; great grandchildren, John Nichols, Elizabeth Lindsey and Allison Lindsey all of McKinney; and sister, Johnnie Mae Myers and husband, G.T. of Summerville, Georgia. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, four brothers and three sisters. A graveside service will be held at 2:30 p.m., Sunday, October 29, 2006, at Pecan Grove Cemetery with Bro. Lester Jefferson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00-2:00 p.m., Sunday prior to the service at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
