R.G. “Red” Moore, age 79, of Carrollton, Texas passed away December 20, 2008. He was born July 30, 1929 in Victoria, Texas to Verne and Margaret (Unsell) Moore. On May 2, 1949 he married Geneva Sherron in Folksom, Georgia. R.G. proudly served in the United States Navy. He is survived by his adoring wife of almost 60 years, “Sissie” Moore; two daughters, Dr. Neecie Moore of Dallas, Texas, Ruana Grace and husband, Chuck of Baton Rouge, Louisiana; four grandchildren, Kimberly Parker and husband, Rodney of Allen, Texas, Jason Jones of Plano, Texas, Paul Grace of Plano, Texas and Rebekah Grace of Plano, Texas; two brothers, Jimmie Moore and wife, Mary Ann of Brownwood, Texas, Paul “Togo” Moore of Victoria, Texas; sister-in-law, Helen Harrell of Round Rock, Texas and many nieces and nephews to whom he was known as a favorite uncle. Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2008 at Christian Life Assembly Church, 2435 E Hebron Parkway, Carrollton, Texas 75010. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Monday from 7:00-8:30 p.m. at Christian Life Assembly Church.
