Mrs. Purline Tittle, age 67, of Princeton, Texas passed away July 21, 2007, in Dallas, Texas. She was born January 1, 1940, in Edgar, Kentucky to James Bascom and Mazie (Lafferty) Roop. On May 11, 1963, she married Bobby Ray Tittle, who preceded her in death. Mrs. Tittle was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and homemaker. She is survived by husband, Thomas Gomez, Jr.; children, Rita Williams of Dallas, Terry Brasher of Princeton, and Pam Selman and husband, Mitchell of Farmersville, Texas; grandchildren, Robert Brasher, Shane Brasher, Kerry Thomas Strickland and his wife Jenny, Samantha Selman and Ashley Selman; great-grandchild, Trenton Brent Thomas Strickland; sisters, Darlene Miracle and Thelma Grace Farrell; brother, James Harley Roop; and numerous nieces, nephews and other loving relatives. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Delmar Roop. Memorial Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m., Friday July 27, 2007, at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, 411 Paula Road, McKinney, Texas. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 28, 2007, in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. The family will receive friends for visitation beginning at 6:00 p.m. Friday, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
