Phyllis Richards, age 97, of McKinney, Texas formerly of Brooklyn, New York passed away May 26, 2011. She was born March 2, 1914 in Linden, New Jersey to Gustave Sikorski and Caroline (Birnbaum) Sikorski. Phyllis was of the Catholic faith. She is survived by her sisters, Florence Disalvo of Mesquite, Texas and Carrie Fardaloni, Brooklyn, New York. She was preceded in death by her parents, Gustave and Caroline Sikorski; brothers, Henry, Gus and Arnold Sikorski; sister, Helen Sikorski. Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, May 31, 2011 at Ridgeview Memorial Park, Allen, Texas with Rev. James Martin officiating. The family will receive friends during a visitation on Tuesday beginning at 10:00 a.m. prior to the service, at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home, Allen, Texas.
