Phyllis Davis Adsit, age 52, of Garland, Texas, passed away December 21, 2008, in Garland. Phyllis was born October 31, 1956 in Jackson, Mississippi, to James Philip and Alice Mae Davis. She married John Charles Adsit on July 12, 1979. She is survived by her daughter, Allison and her husband, Greg of Little Elm, Texas; brothers, Ron Davis and his wife, Sharon of Mississippi, Randy Davis, also of Mississippi, and Allen Davis of Missouri; her chosen family, Betty Duncan of Grapevine, Texas, Charlotte Duncan of Arlington, Texas, David Duncan of Grapevine, Texas, and Austin, also of Grapevine, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband on August 16, 1981, mother in January of 2004, and father, “Phil” August of 2005.
