Phillip John Lazenby, age 54, of McKinney, Texas, passed away August 31, 2015. He was born on June 12, 1961 in Highland Park, Michigan, to William John and Julie (Scholes) Lazenby. Phillip was a 1984 graduate of Michigan State University. He enjoyed golfing, sports cars, the beach and country music. Phillip loved his family and friends. He was baptized in May of 2015 and a member of Hope Fellowship Church. His favorite scripture was, “I have strength for all things in Christ Who empowers me [I am ready for anything and equal to anything through Him Who infuses inner strength into me; I am self-sufficient in Christ’s sufficiency].” Philippians 4:13.
He is survived by his parents, William John and Julie Lazenby of Plymouth, Michigan; children, Ashley Swan and husband Peter of Covington, Georgia, Courtney Fidell and husband Miles of Auburn, Alabama and Nicholas Lazenby of Marietta, Georgia; grandson, Oliver Swan; the mother of his children, Kimberly Lazenby of Marietta, Georgia; brother, Tom Lazenby and wife Sue of Livonia, Michigan; sister, Deborah Lazenby of Canton, Michigan; many nieces, nephews and other loving family and friends.

A memorial service for Phillip will be held on Tuesday, September 8th, at 10:00 am at North Metro Church (upstairs theater).
