Phillip Hunter Forbus

Jan 11 1942 - May 19 2016

On May 19, 2016 at 6pm the family of Phillip Hunter Forbus said their final goodbye to a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and uncle. Phillip fought a courageous battle with lung cancer since October of last year. He had a long and very fulfilling life, surrounded by what he cherished most...family. He shared the most important time of his life with his wife of 53 years, Priscella, whom he loved dearly. He always kept faith in his God and taught his family to do the same. Family was always his top priority. None of his children ever doubted his love, and he never doubted their love for him.

The family will receive friends at 10 AM, Friday, May 27th at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home Chapel in Frisco TX following will be a celebration of life at 11am, Friday, May 27th at Turrentine Jackson Morrow Funeral Home- Frisco.

Left to treasure his memory is his wife Priscella of 53 years of marriage, daughter Cynthia "Cindy" Forbus, sons Phillip (Candy) Forbus and Dylan Hunter Forbus.

Granddaughters: Crystal Barham, Dafanee Randolph, Nicole Teague, and Ashely Forbus, and 6 great-granchildren.

Also left to treasure his memory are his siblings, sister Charlene Dalton and husband Bill, brothers: Charles, David and wife Lyla, Richard and wife Claudia, Stephen and wife Helen, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. 

Phillip was preceded in death by his mother Ruth Hunter Forbus and father Chalmers Forbus.

Presiding over the service will be Father William "Bill" Dalton.  

Immediately following the memorial, there will be a family reception at the home of his son, Phillip & Candy Forbus.
